1.Extend the stay period.

The stay period for foreigners with transit visa-free has been extended from the original 72 hours and 144 hours to 10 days, with a 240-hour transit visa-free available.

2.Increase the applicable ports.

 Add 

Shanxi Taiyuan Wusu International Airport,

Jiangsu Wuxi Suonan Shuofang and Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport,

Zhejiang Wenzhou Longwan and Jinhua Yiwu International Airport,

Anhui Hefei Xinqiao and Huangshan Tunxi International Airport, 

Fujian Fuzhou Changle, Quanzhou Jinjiang and Nanping Wuyishan International Airport, Jiangxi Nanchang Changbei International Airport, 

Shandong Jinan Yaoqian and Yantai Penglai,

Weihai Dashuipo International Airport, 

Hunan Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport, 

Guangxi Nanning Wuxi and Beihai Fucheng International Airport, 

Hainan Haikou Meilan and Sanya Fenghuang International Airport, 

Sichuan Chengdu Tianfu International Airport,

Guizhou Guiyang Longdongbu International Airport, etc. 

21 ports as 24-hour overstay visa-free entry ports for foreigners. The total number of applicable ports has increased from the original 39 to 60.

3.Expand the stay activity area. 

The total number of provinces where the policy applies has increased from 19 to 24. Among the five new provinces of Shanxi, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hainan, and Guizhou, the stay activity area for policy-applicable personnel in Anhui, Hainan, and Guizhou is the entire province, while the stay activity area for policy-applicable personnel in Shanxi is Taiyuan and Datong, and for policy-applicable personnel in Jiangxi is Nanchang and Jingdezhen. 

The stay activity area for policy-applicable personnel in Fujian, Hubei, and Shaanxi has been expanded to the entire province, and the stay activity area for policy-applicable personnel in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has been expanded to Nanning, Liuzhou, Guilin, Wuzhou, Beihai, Fangchenggang, Qinzhou, Guigang, Yulin, Hechi, and Laibin. Policy-applicable personnel can travel across provincial boundaries within the specified stay activity areas in 24 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities).
